*To qualify for the first skipped payment: You must open a new Corporate America Family Credit Union (CAFCU) checking account of any type, subject to approval, at least 10 business days before the month of the CAFCU loan payment you wish to skip. **To qualify for the second skipped payment: You must make at least $500 in qualifying electronic deposits within 60 calendar days of account opening. A qualifying electronic deposit is a deposit of new income from an external source that has posted to your account. Transfers from one account to another, mobile deposits, Zelle®, or deposits made at a branch or ATM are not considered a qualifying electronic deposit.
Offer not valid on existing CAFCU checking accounts. This offer cannot be combined with any other Skip-A-Pay or checking account offers. Only two CAFCU loan payments can be skipped per calendar year. These may be taken back-to-back or at any time during a rolling 12-month period. There is no fee to participate in the skipped payment through this promotion. Skipping a payment will not reduce your loan balance. Finance charges will continue to accrue on the unpaid balance of the loan, extending the final payment date and increasing the amount of your last payment. If your loan has GAP coverage or Payment Advantage coverage, skipping payments may reduce the GAP payout at total loss, and the total benefit from Payment Advantage may be reduced. It is available for a limited time only and is subject to change or end at any time without notice.
IMPORTANT NOTE: An email confirmation of the payment being skipped will be emailed to your primary email address. You must continue to make your auto loan payment until we confirm your skipped payment has been processed. If you have set up an automatic payment of your loan, the payment for that month will be deferred. If you have set up a recurring payment through online or mobile banking or through a Bill Payment service, you will need to defer the payment for the month. Your new account must stay open through the time we attempt to skip your payment. Offer expires 1/2/2026.
